Welcome to my website.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I am an author and journalist. My main area of interest is politics, with a particular focus on conservative thought.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Born in Paris in 1985, I grew up in Montpellier before joining the Ecole normale sup\u00e9rieure de la rue d’Ulm and then Sciences Po Paris. After working for a government minister and a think tank, I moved to London and became a journalist, before returning to Paris. I was editor-in-chief of the Debates\/Ideas Pages at Le Point<\/em> and then L’Express <\/em>magazines. To find out more, please visit my LinkedIn<\/a> page.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My first essay, Vous avez dit conservateur?<\/em>, focused on British conservatism and the absence of a similar current in France; my second, Les hommes sont-ils obsol\u00e8tes?<\/em>, dealt with the status of men today; my third, De la France<\/em>, investigated the political sources of what is sometimes called the ‘mal fran\u00e7ais’. In my latest book, La Gratitude<\/em>, I explain why I am a conservative, and what conservatism is.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I have a strong interest for English-language non-fiction. I had the privilege to translate the English philosopher Roger Scruton<\/a>, and then to supervise some translation works<\/a> within a leading publishing company.<\/p>\r\n

Since May 2026, I have been editor-in-chief of the quarterly magazine Civilisation<\/a><\/em>, which I co-founded with the entrepreneur Bertrand Picard. Civilisation<\/em> aims to bring together French classical liberals and conservatives. Its first issue will be published in late September 2026.<\/p>\r\n

I write a monthly column<\/a> for the daily newspaper Les Echos<\/em>. My writings have appeared in Le Figaro<\/em>, Valeurs Actuelles<\/em> and La Lettre de l’Expansion<\/em>. I was a columnist at France Culture (\u2018L’Esprit public\u2019 and \u2018Du Grain \u00e0 moudre\u2019) and RTL (\u2018L’esprit de l’info\u2019), and in \u2018Club 28 Minutes\u2019 on Arte and \u201824H Pujadas\u2019 on LCI.<\/p>\r\n

Today, I am also a member of the advisory board of the Fondapol<\/a>, of the pedagogical committee of the ESJ Paris<\/a>, of the Acad\u00e9mie des Sciences Morales, des Lettres et des Arts de Versailles et d\u2019Ile-de-France<\/a>, and an editorial advisor to GenerationLibre<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Married and mother of three children, I devote a significant part of my time to practising Iyengar Yoga<\/a>, which has changed my life and continues to do so.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We can wander through this world, alienated, resentful, full of suspicion and distrust. Or we can find our home here, coming to rest in harmony with others and with ourselves. The experience of beauty guides us along this second path: it tells us that we <\/span>are<\/span> at home in the world, that the world is already ordered in our perceptions as a place fit for the lives of beings like us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\r\n
